\u201cIf only I knew what to do then it would all be so much better.\u201d Have you ever found yourself saying that? I think we\u2019ve all uttered those desperate words in search of an answer to a question in our life.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy parents don\u2019t trust me because of mistakes I\u2019ve made.\u00a0 I just wish I knew what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m finding it harder and harder to control myself when I\u2019m with my boyfriend\/girlfriend. I just wish I knew what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t really feel close to God lately and haven\u2019t for a while, I just wish I knew what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m feeling like I\u2019ve plateaued in my life and am really going nowhere. I just wish I knew what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
It can be really frustrating in life when we find ourselves at a place where we don\u2019t know what our next step should be and feel helpless. And the ugly truth is that\u2026 well\u2026 we\u2019ve all been there.<\/p>\n
But there\u2019s something we kind of like about that place sometimes. It sounds strange to even admit it let alone for me to expect that you\u2019ve felt this way before, but I have to believe that at least some of you have: I sometimes wish I didn\u2019t know what I should do next because either I don\u2019t like what I know I need to do or because it is easier to complain about not knowing than it would be to take action and do something about it.<\/p>\n
Once you know what you should do then it\u2019s all changed and now you actually need to do something about it. You can pretend that you don\u2019t know or you can go on without accepting the solution to your problem, but what does that help?<\/p>\n
So many times our fear and laziness allow us to find out what the next step is and yet not go for it. You can read another inspirational book. You can talk with more and more people to hear more and more opinions. You can continue praying and praying and praying and praying. But sometimes you just need to do what you know you need to do. It sounds so ridiculously simple that it\u2019s not even worth saying, but then again how many times have we known what we needed to do and sat and waited and waited until it was too late?<\/p>\n
So don\u2019t wait a minute later. Think of what problems you\u2019re facing. Do you know what you should do? Even if it is just a first step? Ok, now go do it.<\/p>\n
