To think that it’s been almost 2 years since I’ve blogged is insane. You know what it’s like when you realize just how much time has passed since you last…you fill in the blank? Well, writing is a passion of mine and I’ve still been doing that, but it hasn’t been out there in the blogosphere for all to see. That is, until now.
This website is totally new. It’s a home for my old blog posts which I liked so much I wanted to include them. You may want to go check them out. But I’ll also be adding new content a couple times a week.
What will I be writing about? That’s a good question.

I tend to be a pretty random person because life is pretty random. However, you’ll find most of my writing will center around these three main areas of passion for me:
1. Spirituality – I’m a devoted follower of Christ and think that life with Him is an adventure. There’s always new lands to discover and new realities to explore. So I want to share some of my observations and thoughts along the way with you. It may not be new; sometimes it may be. My hope is that you’ll be encouraged and challenged at times.
2. Ministry – I’m a full time youth pastor. Because of the nature of the beast, ministry is a HUGE part of my life. It consumes much of what I think about and do during my week. And I’m always learning new lessons. No surprise, many of the lessons come from failures or mistakes along the way. So I’d love to share with you what I’ve discovered and maybe even, if we’re lucky, save you from having to make some of the same mistakes if you’re in ministry too.
3. Resources for life and ministry – From time to time I’ll come across a book that just needs to be shared. And I’d love to let you know about it and why it is worth you taking a look at. The same is true for music, which is a strong passion of mine. I can’t tell you how many times my friends have come to me for music recommendations. And even beyond those two things, the internet is all about the sharing of information, right? If I find something that I think makes life better, or really gets me thinking, or just gives me a good laugh, I may want to share it with those who choose to check out my blog.
